Policies:

Visitors: For everyone’s safety, all visitors must register at the office, pay the day use fee and pickup a visitor window tag to be displayed in their vehicle before entering the park. All visitors must leave the park by 11:00 pm. Campsite maximum occupancy is 8 people per campsite.

Vehicle Restrictions: Only 2 vehicles per site. Please park additional vehicles in visitor parking areas designated on the map. All vehicles must register and display a mirror tag – untagged vehicles are subject to towing at the owners expense. Drones, Golf carts, quads, Off-Road Motorcycles, Mopeds, Electric Skateboards, RC vehicles of any kind, & children’s ride-on battery powered vehicles are prohibited due to safety. Charging of electric cars at your campsite or at your cabin, or at a neighboring campsite is prohibited.

Speed Limit: 5 MPH! Please watch for our precious children who forget to watch for you!

Bicycles, Pedal Karts, & Playgrounds: Riding bikes and our pedal karts are fun, but helmets are required for all children under 12 to help protect them from injury. All bicycles must be parked at dusk (when the pole lights come on). Bicyclists must obey road signs! Playgrounds & volleyball court close at dusk

Quiet Hours & Courtesy: Are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. All minors (anyone under 21) must be at their campsite unless escorted by an adult. Please be considerate of others. No loud music at any time! Please call us in the event of discourteous campers! Anyone causing excessive noise, or a disturbance will be asked to leave without a refund. We thank you for using the roads and paths. Please don’t shortcut through your neighbor’s campsite. Please don’t move picnic tables without permission.

Campfires: Please do not move fire rings! All campfires are required to be contained within the fire ring, attended to at all times, and must be extinguished prior to retiring for safety. Firewood may be purchased at the campground store. You may burn pre-cut, pre-split, seasoned firewood only (under 18″ in length)! No gathering or cutting firewood of any kind from our woodlots. No burning garbage or construction materials.

The Use of Fireworks; Chinese or Japanese Lanterns; Sling Shots; BB, Airsoft, or Paintball Guns; Firearms; & Bows and Arrows Are Prohibited! Only hand-held sparklers are permitted under adult supervision. No throwing sparklers! Please place used sparklers in garbage for dumpster, not your fire ring. Thank you!

Campfires: Please do not move fire rings! Do not place non-burnable items in fire rings (no glass, metal, nails, garbage, etc.). All campfires are required to be contained within the fire ring, attended to at all times, and must be extinguished prior to retiring.

Firewood: Bringing out-of-state firewood into Penna. is prohibited by law. Firewood may be purchased at the campground store. You may burn pre-cut, pre-split, seasoned firewood only (under 18″ in length)! No construction materials allowed, and no gathering logs or cutting firewood of any kind from our woodlots.

We need to protect our trees! The transportation of firewood is the leading anthropogenic cause of new infestations of invasive insects and diseases. Help spread the word. Visit Don’t Move Firewood! We thank you for helping us and saving the trees in Pennsylvania!

Trees: Please do not deface trees in any way including but not limited to: placing any hardware including crews, nails, etc. in trees, hanging hammocks, tents, or other items that will wear or remove bark from the tree, and cutting or removing any branches from trees.

Alcoholic Beverages: Alcohol is allowed, but is not permitted off site or in open display. Can or bottle koozies are required. No kegs allowed. Disorderly conduct or public drunkenness will result in removal from the campground without refund!

Conduct: Guests and their visitors are expected to behave in a manner consistent with a family atmosphere. Adult supervision is required for all minors (under 21) i.e. no leaving minors unattended. Littering, stone throwing, defacing trees, picnic tables, road signs, or any other campground or other camper’s property, and destructive or dangerous behaviors are strictly prohibited.

Fishing & Lakes: All fishing is catch and release only (no keepers)! No swimming or wading in any lakes or ponds. No license is required. No placing fish on stringers or in buckets. Please return the fish to the pond from which it was caught. Canoes, kayaks, and swimming are prohibited. Ask at office for a map of local places to canoe/kayak. No throwing anything into the lakes. Thank you!

Pool Rules: There is no lifeguard is on duty! Swimming is at your own risk. Children 12 & under require adult supervision to (at least 18) to swim. No running, jumping, or diving. Please dry off before entering buildings! Swim season and hours are on the campsite map. Complete pool rules are posted and must be followed.

Pet-Friendly Campground: No aggressive pets or excessive barking pets allowed. Pets are must be leashed 100% of the time (6’ or less), cleaned up after 100% of the time, attended to 100% of the time, and barking is to be minimized. Our furry friends are not allowed in any buildings including the store, pavilion, nor in or at (nor in) cabin rental units. Please do not tether pets to utilities or buildings. Pets are not allowed in playgrounds at any time.

Campsite Assignments & Use: Please set up your tent or RV on the assigned site as intended for use. We do not allow awning to awning camping. Specific sites may be requested but are not guaranteed. PA law prohibits dumping of dishwater and gray water on the ground. Dump station is available at the campground exit road. One picnic table per campsite, please do not move tables from other sites without permission. No digging holes. No carpets (breathable camper mats are allowed but not for more than 7 days at a time).

Camper’s Sink: Is available at the North side of the Restroom/Pavilion and is designated for washing dishes.

Restrooms, Store, & Other Buildings: By state law, smoking is not permitted in any KOA building, including rental cabins. Smoking not permitted in the pool area. Please discard butts in appropriate receptacles. A shirt and shoes are required in the store. If a restroom is found in poor condition and needs attention, please report it to the office immediately! Thank you for helping us to maintain a clean facility!

Please Conserve Water & Electricity: No kiddie pools, nor portable hot tubs, please. Washing RV’s and vehicles is prohibited! Please try to conserve electricity by shutting off outside lights before retiring for the night.

Garbage Disposal: Please place your bagged garbage in the dumpster near the exit gate (located across from the Propane Station) daily to discourage wildlife from seeking food at the campsites. Please recycle by separating your rinsed aluminum soda and beer cans from the general garbage, and place them in the green recycling containers located throughout the park.
